MIECF 2013- Thinking Green, Going Clean, and Living Cool

    SEOUL, KOREA, March 27, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Macao International Environmental Co-operation Forum and Exhibition (MIECF 2013) was held at Venetian Macao-Resort-Hotel from March 21st to 23rd. As the Green Industry rises with the increasing focus on environmental and energy issue, companies are entering the market to provide more convenient and efficient way to live more green.

Siemens suggested a solution for energy and environmental issues by introducing Scientific Smart Building Control System, security and fire protection system that also optimizes building management by considering residents' convenience and safety.

MITSUBISHI Introduced 'S-Bahn', an Automated Guideway Transit System. 'S-Bahn', displayed at MIECF 2013, is a new transportation equipped with an automated operation system that connects mainland China and Macau starting from Gongbei, Zhuhai, and Guangdong.

Official of Mitsubishi stated, "Now its design has been completed and production has started. It will be officially applied by 2015".

At MIECF, CECEP introduced a Total Energy-Saving Solution customized for Macao. China Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Group (CECEP) is the biggest corporation specializing in energy conservation and environment protection technology in China. It consists of 300 affiliated companies and 5 corporations providing service in 30 provinces in China and 40 foreign countries.

Also, there are companies that are taking the action by themselves. Melco Crown Entertainment has directed its company towards eco-friendly 'Ecomagination' by establishing its own environment committee for saving energy and practicing environmentally-friendly ways of life. Meclco Crown's buildings are equipped with center cooling system that reduces energy spending by 20%~35% and the building management system that can control the temperature around the clock.

Also, it practices various energy-saving projects such as using LED lighting, taking the stairs and recycling all wastes.

'AO Lung' is an innovated green product that was introduced in the MIECF 2013. 'AO Lung' is a compressed air car that is powered by an engine with compressed air. Without the usage of gas or electric cells, 'AO Lung' is distinct from previously released electric or hybrid cars. It saves compressed air in a tank located inside to move the cylinder which will generate power to run an engine.

Meanwhile, the 6th MIECF 2013 is attended by various business and public organizations from 53 countries. The theme of conference is 'Sustainable Cities-The Way Towards a Green Future'. And a variety of products related with energy efficiency, renewable energy, green construction, green traffic, solution for waste and water quality control and environmental service are introduced. Especially, various events such as Green Forum, Green Exhibition, Green Business Matching, Green Public Day, and Technical visits are being held at the same time this year.
