LONDON, ENGLAND, April 05, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- PromotionBox was founded in London in 2012 and expanded to South Africa at the beginning of 2013. The firm attribute their growth in Q1 to high performance of its newest client. In January, PromotionBox signed the American cosmetics brand Makeover Essentials and have been promoting their products through print and online media. PromotionBox co-founder Dan Wrigley reports "very promising" early feedback from the campaigns. "Makeover Essentials is a well-established name in cosmetics in the USA, and our aim is to increase its brand awareness in the UK through magazine advertisements and reputable ecommerce sites. We have recently started using the KGBdeals website to promote one of Makeover Essentials' sets at a discounted rate. We have found that discounts and giveaways are one of the best ways to promote a new product, as customers are attracted towards good deals. A large proportion of Makeover Essentials' customer base is actually repeat customers, so once the product is in the consumer's hands they are likely to come back for more."
Following from their KGBdeals campaign, PromotionBox will launch promotions and coupons on an additional discount website in April. The site could not be named at the time of press; however Wrigley can confirm that it is a "household name". PromotionBox decided to use ecommerce sites as a cornerstone of their marketing campaigns due to the popularity of internet shopping in the UK. The Telegraph article 'Britons are biggest online shoppers in the developed world' reveals that 60% of British adults buy consumer goods online, almost double the rate in the USA. Last year, Britons spent GBP68.2 billion online, a GBP10 billion increase on 2010. "The surprising news is that despite our love of internet shopping, British businesses are the fifth lowest in the developed world for using internet," says Dan Wrigley, co-founder of PromotionBox. "We did not want to fall into that trap as in this era of digital communication, brands that do not have an online presence get left behind. What we provide for our clients is an integrated mix of online, traditional print media and event promotions; cross-channel communication provides the greatest reach in terms of target audience."

"Our goal as a firm is to maintain our 6% growth throughout Q2," says Dan Wrigley. "We are constantly looking for new clients from all sectors, as a diverse client portfolio encourages diversity. We are confident that 2013 is going to be a very productive year."
