Ms. Ottavan has 15 years of experience in graphic design. She started out working in New York for 7 years in advertising and public relations agencies, before endeavoring to leave the city and open her own company. Ms. Ottavan established Door No. 3 Design, Inc. in 2005 in Columbia, Md. and began accruing clientele in Maryland, Washington, D.C. and Virginia. She has since relocated to Frederick, Md. and continues to branch out across the U.S., including the Midwest and West Coast design areas. Her expertise is in all aspects of graphic design. She offers all the design capabilities of a large agency, but with the individual attention and service of a small studio.

In addition to print design, Door No. 3 Design, Inc. offers website design, web banner and advertisement design, and creative assets such as signage, branding and graphic presentations. It also offers audio and video editing, multimedia design and animation services to clients. Ms. Ottavan continues to maintain strong working relationships with most of her original clients and provides top notch customer service. Ms. Ottavan is also an instructor of graphic and web design courses at the Boston University Center for Digital Imaging Arts in Washington, D.C. Ms. Ottavan received a Bachelor of Arts in English print journalism in 1995 from the State University of New York College at Plattsburgh. She holds an Associate of Arts in liberal arts, which she earned in 1993 from Orange County Community College. In 2009, she was the recipient of the APEX Award for Publishing Excellence.
