ALEDO, TX, April 09, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Small Press Department, Barnes and Noble, Inc. reviewed and placed an order for 'The Ghost of Whispering Willow' by Amanda M. Thrasher, allowing category buyer to purchase the title for their stores. Great news for the non-traditional press, founded by authors.
'The Ghost of Whispering Willow' is a ghost mystery, non-gender specific, reading grade level sixth to eighth grade, and contains characters based on real people. This is Thrasher's third title reviewed and purchased by the Small Press Department over time, 'Mischief in the Mushroom Patch' and 'A Fairy Match in the Mushroom Patch' preceded it.
Thrasher wrote a graphic novel titled 'What If ... A Story of Shattered LIves,' which was adapted to a reader's theater for the Texas Municipal Courts Education Center, as part of the D.R.S.R (Driving on the Right Side of the Road) program. It is a story geared toward teen safety while driving, about the consequences of drinking and texting behind the wheel.
