CORK, IRELAND, April 18, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Cork City Football Club is a grassroots club bringing player's year on year through their youth sides through to the professional league and Cork has even produced some well known and strong international players the past few decades. The under 19s side of CCFC was only established two years ago and has now successfully won and retained both the League Title and Airtricity Cup two years in a row.
James Neal, Managing Director of Success Corcaigh has always been involved in sport, both playing and coaching from a young age, initially being involved in his local soccer team before discovering his love for rugby, this being his major focus through his teenage years. James represented his village team, school, County and University over a span of over twelve years whilst also being involved in the coaching and development of three youth Rugby teams during the same period. A level 3 qualified youth rugby coach, James successfully led all three youth teams to dramatic victories at the Matlock Festival in 2007, a testament to his coaching and training abilities.
The keen interest in sport doesn't stop with James, the eldest of six children the whole family are avid sportsmen, two of his brothers have competed in national championships for Jiu Jitsu, his youngest brother currently plays for South Yorkshire Rugby Team, and sister Rosie represents and is the club president of Newcastle University womens rugby team, had her debut for Darlington Mowden Park Womens Rugby Team last weekend for the first time representing a Premiership Rugby Club. James has always maintained that a strong competitive background will drive people for success.
"I have always been competitive, coming from a large family it comes naturally to me, playing sport all my life I was determined to be the best and train the best, when it came to preparation I was and still am an animal, I will put in hours to get things right at one point I was training six days a week and playing on the seventh. Most recently I completed the Great North Run in Newcastle, I stopped using my car or public transport and carried a rucksack with my running gear everywhere with me, at the peak of my training I ran 96 miles in one week. I'm a firm believer in practice making perfect, I love the quote 'fail to prepare and prepare to fail' and I carry that drive and dedication through to business."
Cork has always been and is now a great sporting City, Roy Keane and Dennis Irwin both hailing from the area. James Neal is looking forward to seeing much more success from the Cork youth and Senior sides and wishes them all the best in the upcoming season.
