David C. Haswell Inducted into Worldwide Who's Who for Excellence in Information Technology

    MONTREAL, QUEBEC, CANADA, April 17, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- David C. Haswell, Director of Information Technology for Davies, Ward, Phillips & Vineberg LLP, has been recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in information technology.

As the director of IT for business law firm Davies, Ward, Phillips & Vineberg, Mr. Haswell manages strategic information technology initiatives and oversees daily IT operations. Always willing to follow new trends, he also researches and seeks new technology that will benefit the firm. Some of Mr. Haswell's other responsibilities include providing IT implementation, application and security support, and performing administrative functions.

Mr. Haswell has more than 30 years of experience in information technology and as an employee of Davies, Ward, Phillips & Vineberg LLP. In addition to overseeing IT operations and implementing new technology, he handles disaster recovery efforts and trains others throughout the firm. His areas of expertise include business management, leadership, network administration and communication, and project planning and implementation. Prior to becoming the director of information technology, he started as a network administrator for the law firm. In his current role, Mr. Haswell manages a team of 12 technicians.
Demonstrating valuable skills in computers and information technology, Mr. Haswell attributes his success to his overall dedication and resource network. He began working with the law firm of Davies, Ward, Phillips & Vineberg when he was 19 years old.

A member of the International Legal Technology Association, Mr. Haswell holds several certifications in information management and technology. In his spare time, he volunteers for local food banks and homeless shelters for families and children. He plans to continue leading the technology department at the law firm in the coming years.
