SAN MARCOS, CA, April 23, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Prospective students will have an opportunity this Friday to interact with faculty and advisors during a special open house for the Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) program at California State University San Marcos (CSUSM). The open house will take place:

CSUSM is now accepting applications, on a rolling basis, for the Fall 2013 MSN program. The priority deadline for applications to the nursing program is May 1.
Offered by CSUSM Extended Learning, the MSN programs aims to prepare San Diego area nurses in generalist and advanced practice roles for positions in the health care industry, community or public health agencies, and academia, and for continued study at the doctoral level.
The graduate program builds on the knowledge gained at the baccalaureate level and promotes nursing scholarship at the local, state, national and international level through research, service and practice. Values, ethics and multicultural perspectives are heavily embedded within the graduate program. In addition the program offer several MSN concentrations and tracks for students wishing to advance their skills as nurse educators, nurse leaders and advanced practice nurses.
