Local singer-songwriter Nina Jo Smith released her debut full-length studio album People, following a successful Kickstarter campaign, Smith recorded People, Places and Sings which offers an eclectic mix of original songs spanning multiple genres including Americana, folk, and country. "Hey Songwriter" has already been picked up by 356 radio stations.

Nina Jo plays guitar and ukulele with clean, inventive picking. She sings in a voice that ranges from city smooth to mountain plain. When Nina Jo returned to performing twenty years after her brother's murder, she brought the focus and passion of a martial artist to her gentle music.
