Mr. Kasad has more than 17 years of agency and corporate experience in internal communications and public relations, with over two years as senior director of worldwide communications for the Symantec Corporation. He is an expert in creating public relations programs in international markets, as well as leading and managing diverse teams in complex global environments. As a communications advisor and strategist he guides leaders in mastering the art of storytelling.

He attributes his success to his exposure to working with people of different cultures with diverse backgrounds, as well as his knowledge of public relations and communications within global marketplaces. He became involved in his profession by participating in an internship at a public relations agency after earning an MBA. At the public relations agency he worked with a diverse set of companies such as IBM, ESPN, Sun Microsystems, Intel, General Motors, Enron, Pepsi, General Electric, McDonald's, Bank of America and Monsanto. His key strength is his ability to contribute to resolving business issues through communications.
The highlight of Mr. Kasad's career was working with Craig Barret of Intel, and Jack Welch of GE. Another highlight occurred while leading public relations and communications teams in Europe. He ran a campaign on security postures of European critical infrastructure. The campaign was very visible across the European Union, and its member states leveraged findings from the campaign to draft national laws for data security and security of their critical infrastructure. Furthermore, as a result of the campaign, Symantec was invited to present the findings to the European Parliament in Brussels. Symantec was appointed as an independent consultant helping the EU sub-committee to draft a policy on security. This elevated Symantec to a position of thought leadership in information security and management space. In short, the campaign led to tangible thought leadership for the company.
Mr. Kasad completed an executive business acumen program at the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan in 2009. He also earned a postgraduate diploma in business administration from the University of Bombay in 1997, and a master's degree in international relations from the University of Bombay in 1994. A member of the Public Relation Society of India, he has received a superachiever award from the Indira Institute of Management, as well as a Star Award in public relations and communication from the Symantec Corporation.
