According to the CDC, Center for Disease Control and Prevention, The first step in preventing school violence is to understand the extent and nature of the problem. In the CDC's Youth Violence Facts at a Glance, 20.1% reported being bullied on school property in the 12 months preceding the survey. Doesn't this suggest that our children need support in peer to peer relationships, self esteem and alternative strategies for controlling our anger.
