Ton de Kok Named a Worldwide Who's Who Professional of the Year for Excellence in Human Resources

    TILBURG, NETHERLANDS, May 14, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ --Ton de Kok, Business Development Manager for Wissenraet Van Spaendonck, has been named a Worldwide Who's Who Professional of the Year in Human Resources. While inclusion in Worldwide Who's Who is an honor, only a small selection of members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. These special honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, years of service, and the credentials they have provided in association with their Worldwide Who's Who membership.

Mr. De Kok, who has nearly three decades of experience in the business world, has been the business development manager for Wissenraet Van Spaendonck for the past seven years. The firm, which is based in Tilburg, The Netherlands, is a leading provider of association management, professional development and management consulting services. The firm works with a wide range of organizations throughout the country to enhance efficiency and promote social change. In his current role with the firm, Mr. De Kok implements concepts in the areas of social security, vocational training and education. He is also developing service concepts while interfacing with various associations on behalf of the company.

Prior to assuming his current role with Wissenraet Van Spaendonck, Mr. De Kok filled a number of key positions with other leading companies in the development field, including serving as the manager of business development for Randstad HR Solutions. During his long career, he has earned a reputation for being a motivated, results-oriented businesses development specialist with expertise in strategic analysis.

Mr. De Kok, who entered the business development field as a result of his lifelong desire to drive social change, attributes his success to his perseverance and creativity. In the next five years, he would like to expand his business, adding an international focus.

Mr. De Kok earned a master's degree in English and American literature before going on to complete modules in Business Administration at IBO in Zeist and coursework in management and organization at Hogeschool van Arnhem en Nijmegen. He has also studied business at the graduate level at the University of Durham and American literature and history at Sheffield University. An active member of the field, he has belonged to several professional groups, including the National Academic Council. Outside of his professional life, he is a dedicated philanthropist who works with nonprofit organizations such as UNICEF and several environmental charities.
