Mr. Wilson has five years of experience in his profession, with three years in his current position. His areas of expertise include team management, customer service, operations negotiation, logistics, inventory management and negotiation. On a day-to-day basis, Mr. Wilson handles sales and marketing and oversees the strategic planning and implementation of all company initiatives. He also directs public relations, revenue generation, financial forecasting and strategic mergers and acquisitions. A dedicated professional, Mr. Wilson strives to maintain C.G.S.'s reputation as a producer of high-quality warehouse storage products, including industrial mezzanines, pallet racking, condominium storage lockers and industrial cantilever racking and shelving for clients such as Michelin, Fastenal, Bell, NAPA and the Canadian national government. C.G.S. provides expert warehouse certification, design and relocation services.
In addition to his work with C.G.S. Industries, Mr. Wilson has worked as a teacher and program coordinator with the Lester B. Pearson school board. Previously, he served for six years as principal of the Weston School and oversaw the administration of all academic services in the school. For four years beginning in 1996, Mr. Wilson was principal at the Littoral School Board, where he oversaw academic services for the St. Paul's River and Old Fort schools.
The first recipient of a Mack Tesky Award (McGill University), Mr. Wilson attributes his professional success to his extensive experience in team building and human relations. He traces his involvement in his profession to his desire to simultaneously generate revenue and produce high-quality products and services at affordable prices. In the years to come, he hopes to continue to grow C.G.S. on the national level.
Mr. Wilson received a bachelor's degree in educational administration and supervision from the University of Sherbrooke in 2000 and a bachelor's degree in physical education teaching and coaching from McGill University in 1986. He is active in the professional community through his membership in the Material Handling Equipment Distributors Association and Commission de la construction du Quebec. In his spare time, Mr. Wilson enjoys exercising and coaching football and wrestling.
