A. Gordon Nelson Inducted into Worldwide Who's Who for Excellence in Business Management

    MISSISSAUGA, ONTARIO, CANADA, May 20, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- A. Gordon Nelson, President of A.G. Nelson Development Inc., has been recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in business management.
Over the course of an illustrious career, Mr. Nelson has been nurturing an ever growing skill set, and his firm is currently in the process of restoring a commercial building in Victoria Harbor, Ontario. Lauded as an expert in management, Mr. Nelson oversees all aspects of his development company, which provides restoration and renovation of older residences and commercial buildings, and leases them at prices which are reasonable and affordable. He also hires staff members and contractors, and manages projects. Upon reflecting on a successful career, Mr. Nelson attributes his success to his patience and determination.

Mr. Nelson has earned degrees in financial planning and theology. Although no longer working in charitable fund-raising, he is probably best known for years of leadership in the area of personal charitable fundraising. The Canadian Charitable Gift Annuity Association, which he chaired for several years presents the "Gordon Nelson award" yearly to recognize the person who shows leadership in Canada in the field of charitable annuitiess. Gordon also sat for three years on the Board of the American Couccil on Gift Annuities in the United States as the Advisory Representative for Canada and presented seminars on cross-border charitable gifting at that Association's annual conferences in various U.S. cities. He was also one of the founding Board Members of the Canadian Association of Gift Planners (CAGP), an organization which has grown to over 3,000 members across Canada. Now as the President of A. G. Nelson Development Inc., Rev. Nelson is looking forward to a bright future, hoping for the continued growth of the company.
