Mr. Moyneur, who has over fifteen years of experience in the healthcare and human resources fields, has been director of human resources for Providence Health Care for the past two years. The company, which is based in Vancouver, Canada, is one of the region's leading faith based providers of healthcare to children, adolescents and adults. Operating 14 healthcare facilities throughout Vancouver, the healthcare system maintains a team of doctors, 6,000 staff and 1,600 volunteers. In his leadership role, Mr. Moyneur oversees all human resources operations, including labor relations, staff scheduling, dispute resolution, mediation and organizational change. He also supervises a team of five Leaders (Managers) and 80 professional and unionized staff.
Prior to assuming his current role with Providence Health Care, Mr. Moyneur held a number of key positions within the organization. Throughout his career, he has earned a reputation for being a driven, results-oriented human resources professional with expertise in labor relations and full human resources functions.
Mr. Moyneur, who entered the oil industry as a laboratory technician, came to his current position after series of events that lead to shifting his career focus to labor relations. He attributes his success to being a worker and an advocate for both the employee and the employer. Having this experience allows him to see both sides of the equations in the labour relations industry. Over the next five years, he would like to do more consulting, mentoring and volunteer work.
Mr. Moyneur holds a wide range of leadership and industry certifications. An active member of the field, he belongs to numerous professional groups and organizations, including the Labour Relations Advisory Group and the Classification and Compensation Advisory Group for the industry reporting to the province of British Columbia. Outside of his professional life, he is a devoted community member who volunteers with Young Men's Adventure Weekend and Ratanak International. During his free time he enjoys golfing, skiing and taking vacations.
