CALINC Training Announces Availability of OSHA Asbestos and CDPH Lead Classes in Spanish

    EL DORADO HILLS, CA, May 24, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- CALINC Training, a leading provider of OSHA, EPA, and CDPH training and certification classes in California proudly announces the availability of Spanish language courses for many of its class offerings. The first two classes offered in Spanish will be the 8 hour Cal/OSHA Asbestos Worker Refresher course and the 7 hour CDPH Lead Continuing Education (CE) Worker course.

"We recognize the vital importance of lead-safe and asbestos-safe work practices for the safety of all people who live or work around these dangerous materials, as well as contractors and their workers," said Ms. Carla Wroten, Director of CALINC Training Services. "We also recognize the diverse nature of the construction industry and the lack of Spanish language classes available. As a leading provider or these types of training services in California, it is our responsibility to ensure that everyone has the training necessary to effectively deal with asbestos and lead paint issues as they arise on projects."

Completing the Asbestos Worker Refresher course and the Lead Continuing Education course will enable people to become Cal/OSHA and CDPH certified and enable them to work on Lead and Asbestos Abatement projects in compliance with federal and state regulations.

All classes are currently taught at the Vacaville headquarters location of CALINC Training, but are available onsite by request and will be taught at locations in the Bay Area by the end of 2013.

The next Spanish language classes available are for the Asbestos Worker Refresher course, and will be taught on June 8th and July 13th starting at 8am at the CALINC Training facility at 2040 Peabody in Vacaville.

Initials classes are not yet being offered at regularly scheduled times, but are available on request. These classes include:

32-hour Cal/OSHA Asbestos Worker Initial SPANISH
24-hour CDPH Lead Worker Initial SPANISH
