Joanna Ilizaliturri Diaz Named a Worldwide Who's Who Professional of the Year for Excellence in Health Care Consulting

Ms. Ilizaliturri Diaz, who has 19 years of HealthCare experience and 11 years in consulting, established JD & Associates in 2011. Her company specializes in clinical information system deployment, clinical operations workflow analysis and project management for the healthcare industry. As principal and expert project strategist at JD & Associates, Ms. Ilizaliturri Diaz currently provides operational workflow leadership and guidance to consulting groups, and she is responsible for the implementation of a clinical information system process that affects more than 300 physicians in varying disciplines and 2000 employees. She has previously consulted with a 150-physician practice, overseeing 19 specialty divisions and 65 employees.

Ms. Ilizaliturri Diaz started using her creative talents as a young artist. At an early age, she began entering local drawing competitions and going on to win them. Since then, she has used her creative genius as an author and playwright. Her creative works have been featured at the renowned Josefina Lopez's CASA0101 Theater in "Ride to the East Side," and the award winning "8 Ways to Say, I Love My Life!" theater production in two theaters including the accomplished Evelina Fernandez's, The Los Angeles Theater Center.

The Latino Community recently nominated Ms. Ilizaliturri Diaz with the 2013 La Opinion Mujeres Destacadas (Exceptional Women) Award in the Arts and Culture category and honored her with the award at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel on the April 3, 2013. In addition to using her creative skills, Ms Ilizaliturri Diaz is a leader in the health care community. Through her organization, JD & Associates, she consults with health care organizations to develop efficiencies by using technology and workflow analysis. As a result of her leadership accomplishments, Ms. Ilizaliturri Diaz was selected as a 2013 fellow with the National Hispana Leadership Institute, with studies at the prestigious Harvard University Kennedy School of Government, an executive education program, and the Center for Creative Leadership. As one of 22 nationally selected Hispanics, she raises awareness for support of the future generations of leaders.

Ms Ilizaliturri Diaz has also held leadership roles with non-profit organizations. During her tenure as an officer with Toastmaster International, her club was awarded Presidents Distinguished, the highest club accolade, year after year and she was awarded Toastmaster of the Year. She continues to work with organizations such as the American Diabetes Association to find a cure and collaborates with the Get Wise Latinas and Uplatino groups, created by Gina Lynn Espinoza, on philanthropic efforts as well as facilitating workshops. Her creative and leadership works have been reviewed by F. An inspiring leader in the healthcare consulting industry, Ms. Ilizaliturri Diaz is also an accomplished author and playwright.
