ELGINBURG, ONTARIO, CANADA, May 24, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Agnes Mary Bolarinho, Owner and Operator of Heart to Heart Seniors Services, was recently named a VIP member of Worldwide Who's Who. This special distinction honors individuals who have shown exceptional commitment to achieving personal and professional success.
Heart to Heart is a support system for senior citizens that enables them to maintain an easier independent lifestyle through assistance with the activities of daily living. It serves as an extension of family and provides a level of care that meets the highest standards. Heart to Heart is also fully insured.
Heart to Heart staff can fill in where the need arises and tailor service contract to specific timing and needs. Doctor's appointments, shopping, fresh air outings, or just being good company for a parent or loved one are the available services. In addition, staff members can serve as a family's representative at appointments with social workers, physiotherapists, or other medical therapies.
Moving from one environment to another poses many challenges and the company can help with many of them. Planning, packing, moving, familiarization with the new surroundings; anything to ease the transition can be assisted by Heart to Heart.
Reliable bonded employees will ensure a family's home is kept safe and secure. They will pick up mail, feed and visit pets, water plants and maintain outdoor chores. Their services include, but are not limited to: transportation, companionship, transitions, extension of family, house and pet sitting.
The company provides a higher level of care for seniors that incorporates compassion, dignity and respect at all stages of life and provides services that give families peace of mind when a loved one is too ill or disabled to care for him or herself.
The team is dedicated to making the transition a little smoother, and bringing a sense of dependability and familiarity in the day-to-day tasks and activities.
Ms. Bolarinho has eight years of experience in her current role. Her responsibilities are accounting and bookkeeping, answering telephone calls, traveling on visits with clients/patients, providing patients with day-to-day care and companionship, teaching employees, partnering and communicating with various hospitals and doctors offices in the area who refer her and her business/services to patients.
Ms. Bolarinho got her start in the business when she saw an advertisement in a newspaper for a part time position available with Heart to Heart Seniors Services. She applied and started, and six months later, the owner offered to sell her the business. She accepted and it took off from there. She recreated it as her own. She attributes her success to her passion for the work she does and the services she provides.
Ms. Bolarinho hopes to someday franchise the business and possibly retire and train someone else to take over. She also hopes to establish a foundation that will provide senior citizens the help and services they need if they are not able to afford it.
She became involved in the business because of her love of seniors. She saw a need for a higher level of care for seniors that incorporates compassion, dignity and respect at all stages of life. Her background in fundraising also aided her transition into the field. She worked in various areas, but eventually went back to fundraising when she found an advertisement for her current company. She is also a retired property manager and fundraiser for the non-profit sector in the Kingston area.
Ms. Bolarinho has a high school education. She is a member of the Greater Kingston Community Chamber of Commerce and the Rotary Club of Kingston. She aids several various charitable organizations and does humanitarian work.
