Carol L. Reichert Inducted into Worldwide Who's Who for Excellence in Commercial Aviation

    Miami, Florida, May 30, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Carol L. Reichert, an international purser and flight attendant for American Airlines, has been recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in commercial aviation.
Ms. Reichert was part of an American Airlines team who, back in 2003, transported soldiers to Frankfurt, Germany. Ther, they were trained in chemical warfare before going on to Kuwait City. With a penchant for leadership, she is responsible for overseeing onboard safety and satisfaction, for 11 flight attendants and hundreds of passengers. She effectively communicates with the pilots regarding weather and onboard issues, expertly handles first class and swiftly deals with medical emergencies. She attributes her success to her extensive training and vast experience; she has learned how to deal with a variety of situations.

Ms. Reichert received a Bachelor of Arts in psychology in 1974 from the University of Colorado. She is a member of Red Hot Kiss. In 1990, she was recognized as a Team Hammerheads Professional Flight Attendant by American Airlines. In 1979, she earned a number one award for Going Above and Beyond the Call of Duty for a Medical Emergency by American Airlines. She is a volunteer for the Wings Foundation, the Miami Rescue Mission, Inc. and the Humane Society of Broward County. She is a ballroom dancer and competed in the Arthur Murray School of Dance 100th Anniversary, which took place in New York City.

In 2011, Ms. Reichert was inducted as a 2011 Professional of the Year for Excellence in Commercial Aviation, a distinction that Worldwide Who's Who has carried over into 2012 for her exemplary contributions to the field.
