Di Henshall Recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for Excellence in Interior Design

    NOOSAVILLE, QUEENSLAND, AUSTRALIA, May 29, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Di Henshall, Design Director and Owner of Di Henshall Interior Design, has been recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in interior design.

Ms. Henshall has 33 years of experience in the industry and 25 years in her current role. She primarily works on high-end residential and commercial fit-outs and major renovations. She makes decisions on furniture for kitchens and bathrooms, does makeovers, chooses lighting and handles consultations. She is also overseeing a support staff of 10 professionals while providing high-quality interior design services.

Ms. Henshall has the ability to take a space or building and transform it into her clients' anticipated, finished product and landscape. She is always learning and constantly looking for ways to improve, as well as keeping up with industry trends. Passion cannot be understated.

The most challenging highlight her career would be going back to school to obtain her building license while still running two businesses (a design company and manufacturing plant) and raising two school-age children. Regardless, Ms. Henshall will continue to enhance people's lives by transforming their wants and needs into a high-quality, finished furnishing or renovation.

She became involved in her profession because at the age of 5 she knew she wanted to be a designer, and followed it through in her education. She received a diploma in international design from the British Institute of Interior Design in 1978 and is a certified and registered builder. She is a member of DIA, the Master Builders Australia, the HIA, the Australian Architecture Association and The Luxury Network. She also holds a British Institute of Interior Design Fellowship.

Her work has led to numerous interior designer awards with two separate citations from the Australian Design Institute. She is a committee member of the local chamber of commerce and does charitable work for the Network for Good, Boys Town, Doctors Without Borders, the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, the South African Orphanage and World Vision, Inc.
