Linda M. Wesley Recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for Excellence in Manufacturing and Sales

    HUMBIRD, WI, June 7, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Linda Wesley, Owner of Canyon Creek Mercantile and Plant Lean 5S Champion for Regal Beloit Corporation, has been recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in manufacturing and sales.

For more than 30 years, Ms. Wesley has served as an integral part of Regal Beloit Corporation. The manufacturing company provides electrical and mechanical motion control products to clients on an international scale. When performance improvement initiatives began, nothing within the 5S part of Lean had been established yet. Innovative and perseverant, Ms. Wesley conducted her own research and established an outline for the Lean 5S structure within the manufacturing plant. When the new system was recognized as a huge success for the company, she was named Lean Six Sigma 5S Plant Champion. Self-taught in 5S methodology, she attributes her success to hard work and implementation of her education. Ms. Wesley currently aids affiliated manufacturing plants in implementing the 5S plant structure.

In addition to her work and accomplishments with Regal Beloit Corporation, Ms. Wesley owns Canyon Creek Mercantile, a business she manages on a part-time basis. The local and online retail sales business provides customers with beautiful merchandise such as candles, home decor, toys, and household items, as well as bath and body products. Ms. Wesley holds a diploma in machining from Blackhawk Technical College and has completed certificates in supervisory management, training, bookkeeping, accounting, managing, mentoring, problem solving, and decision-making. In the coming years, she aspires to continue expanding her home-based business, aiding others in implementing 5S strategies, and pursuing opportunities for consulting.

With an impressive professional history, its no surprise that Ms. Wesley has garnered several awards throughout her career. In 2012, she was inducted into Worldwide Who's Who as a lifetime member. Since her inclusion, she has been chosen as a Professional of the Year, Exert Resource, and Top Female Executive. Her career was also honored in an article featured in Pro-Files magazine.

Ms. Wesley is a VIP member with the National Association of Professional Women. As a Catholic woman, she is also an avid supporter of various nonprofit causes and charities.
