Metro Philadelphia Plastic Surgeon "Top Doc" for Fourth Straight Year

A distinguished honor among physicians including plastic surgeons in metro Philadelphia, the designation honors the city's most accomplished surgeons and other doctors.

Initial nominations come from physicians who endorse a particular practitioner they feel outshines other member of his or her specialty. Dr. Sorokin, a board-certified plastic surgeon, credits the integrity associated with his practice as a major factor in his receiving the award.

"Technical skill is important, but I think our focus on patient comfort and education has also gone a long way in establishing our credibility as a practice," he says. "For example, when I perform breast augmentation in Philadelphia, I consider it my duty as a surgeon to take the time to develop a full understanding of the patient's goals and tailor the procedure to what she needs while keeping her safe. No stranger to awards of this nature, Dr. Sorokin has earned several since establishing his practice in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, in 2003. He won his first Top Doc award from SJ Magazine in 2006. Since then, he has collected the honor multiple times from entities such as US News & World Report, New Jersey Monthly, Inside Jersey Magazine, and Consumer Research Guide.
