Evan Tan Named a VIP Member of Worldwide Who's Who for Excellence in Student Leadership

    LA MIRADA, CA, June 14, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Evan Tan, President of Associated Students at Biola University, Inc., was recently named a VIP member of Worldwide Who's Who. This special distinction honors individuals who have shown exceptional commitment to achieving personal and professional success.

The Associated Students group at Biola University is a student government organization that manages on-campus student events, programming, and representation. Evan Tan won the school election to serve as the president of Associated Students and, in this role, serves as a liaison between 4000 undergraduate students and university administration. It is Mr. Tan's job to serve as the voice of the entire student body.

He is also responsible for overseeing an array of finance, marketing and communication matters, and he regularly meets with the Presidential Administrative Council of Biola University. As a result, he has become highly proficient in public speaking and leadership. Eventually, he hopes to complete an MBA in administration - he is currently in pursuit of a bachelor's degree in business administration.

Mr. Tan has been named a member of Who's Who Among Students in American Universities & Colleges. He feels his academic success is a result of God's providence and faithfulness. It has become his mission to both proclaim the preeminence of Christ and facilitate the empowerment of others in business. During the last three years at Biola University, Mr. Tan feels he has grown a great deal. He plans to leave the organization with a sense of accomplishment and know that he has made a difference in the empowerment of its students and leaders.
