To drink, you could opt for traditional British tea but that's not the only liquid refreshment on the menu. There's a choice of vanilla milk shake, homemade infused ice teas made from mint and pomegranate, green tea or ginger and lemon grass, or a glass of prosecco.

GRBR.Co is not the only London restaurant offering an alternative to classic afternoon tea which has become a hugely popular outing in the capital. Fans of the Sam Mendes musical production which recently opened in London's West End will be tempted to take the elevator to the eighth floor of the Oxo Tower for the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory Not Afternoon Tea experience, GBP42.50, which promise an adventure for the tastebuds to rival Willy Wonka's own creations.

Afternoon Tease at Volupte in London's Chancery Lane, one of the UK's longest running and most famous burlesque events, mixes tea with cabaret singers and beautiful burlesque artistes.
