BOSTON, MA, June 20, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Amanda Kelly, Coordinator of ABA Consultation for SEEM Collaborative, has been recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in education consulting.
Ms. Kelly, who has more than a decade of experience in the education field, has been the coordinator of ABA consultation for SEEM Collaborative for the past four years. The organization, which is based in the Boston area, works with local public school districts to ensure that programs and services are available to all students. In her leadership role, Ms. Kelly coordinates all school- and home-based behavior consultation services. She also assigns cases to consultants and works closely with human resources departments to make sure that all protocols are correctly followed.
Prior to assuming her current role with SEEM Collaborative, Ms. Kelly filled a number of key positions with other leading organizations, including serving as an adjunct professor in the department of special education at Bay Path College, an adjunct professor in the department of applied psychology at Antioch University New England and a district-wide board-certified behavior analyst (BCBA) at Triton Regional School District. During her long career, she has earned a reputation for being a driven, results-oriented education consultant with expertise in implementing systems to support children with autism.
Ms. Kelly, who entered her current profession due to a lifelong interest in education, attributes her success to her desire to help others. Over the next five years, she would like to transition into a full-time teaching position at the university level.
Ms. Kelly holds a bachelor's degree in education from Shepherd University, a master's degree in behavior education from Simmons College and a certificate in applied behavior analysis from University of Massachusetts, Amherst. She also received a Ph.D. in applied behavior analysis at Simmons College. An award-winning education consultant, she belongs to numerous professional groups, including the Berkshire Association for Behavior Analysis and Therapy, the Asperger's Association of New England and the Association for Behavior Analysis International. During her free time, she enjoys volunteering with local charities, skydiving and traveling.
