Intermountain Vein Center Announces The "You're So Vein" 5k/10k Race

    PROVO, UT, June 20, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Intermountain Vein Center is gearing up to celebrate ten years of successful business by hosting a 5k/10k race on Saturday, August 3, 2013. This event is designated to show appreciation for all patients and benefit children in need.

The race will start and finish at Timpanogos Park in Orem, UT. Start times will vary based on the chosen race distance. Awards will be given to the top-finishers. Those participating in the 10k must finish within a 3 hour time period while those running the 5k must finish the race in 2:15.

In addition to the race awards, contest winners for the best costume, entourage, and leg cover-up will also receive prizes. All contests will be held prior to the race. Regardless of race time, all participants will receive a "You're So Vein" race T-shirt and a free pancake breakfast provided by One Man Band Diner.

The price for participation is $25 through June 30th and $35 until July 31st when the registration closes. Race packets and bibs may be picked up on August 1-2nd at IVC or on race day at the park.

All profits made from the "You're so Vein" event will be donated to the "Now I Can" Foundation. The "Now I Can" Foundation was set up to help children with disabilities overcome their challenges and fulfill their dreams. The foundation helps children by providing physical therapy and support to reach their full potential.
