Current intelligent building systems save energy by turning off unneeded lights and HVAC service, but cannot maximize savings as they don't know who is present and where people are working today. Demonstrating their leadership and vision in the federal government workplace, the General Services Administration upgraded their headquarters installation to connect their Smart Occupancy program with these new Smart Buildings capabilities to maximize efficiency and support for their workforce.
