Hillary Hodge Inducted into Worldwide Who's Who for Excellence in Biological Consulting

    SAN FRANCISCO, CA, June 26, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Hillary Hodge, Managing Partner of BioMaAS Inc., has been recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in biological consulting.
Recognized as a minority- and women-owned biological consulting company, BioMaAS Inc. specializes in a variety of environmental services, such as assessments, construction, surveys, habitat restoration, planning, permitting, mitigation and more. The company is certified as a small/micro business by the state of California, and permitted by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the California Department of Fish and Game to conduct surveys on threatened and endangered species. As managing partner, Ms. Hodge oversees finances and payroll, and handles contract negotiations.
Ms. Hodge has seventeen years of experience in biological and environmental consulting, including eight as managing partner of BioMaAS Inc. Some of her areas of expertise include environmental science, environmental compliance, wetlands and ecology. She is also familiar with natural resources, water quality testing, wildlife biology, and storm water management. Prior to joining BioMaAS Inc., Ms. Hodge worked as a project manager and senior permitted biologist for California State University, East Bay and project manager for Sycamore Associates.
Demonstrating several years of expertise in environmental compliance, Ms. Hodge attributes her success to her ambition and drive to excel. She became involved in her profession because she wrote her thesis on the BART system project. Ms. Hodge also gained experience through field work with other companies.
Ms. Hodge received a master's degree in biology from California State University, East Bay. Outside of work, she donates money to organizations such as the food bank. She also enjoys spending time with her 4-year-old and traveling. In the coming years, Ms. Hodge hopes to expand the company.
