Todd Brett White Named a VIP Member of Worldwide Who's Who for Excellence in Criminal Law

Mr. White has been practicing in the fields of criminal defence, extradition, regulatory offenses and professional disciplinary law since 1992. He established Todd Brett White, Barrister, in August 2012. He got his start in the field when he articled for Edward L. Greenspan, Q.C. and Marc Rosenberg in 1990. He then practiced law at the firm of Greenspan, Rosenberg and Buhr, becoming a partner in 1998. He continued to practice with the firm (formerly known as Greenspan, White) until he established Todd Brett White, Barrister. In 2013, he was selected by his peers as one of the Best Lawyers in Canada in the practice area of criminal defence.

He has been involved in complex and high profile criminal and Charter of Rights cases in Ontario and across Canada. Todd White has also taught the Bar Admission Course The Law Society of Upper Canada and has been a lecturer in Evidence, Criminal Law and Procedure and Trial Advocacy at Osgoode Hall Law School, the University of Toronto Law School and the Faculty of Arts and Sciences at the University of Toronto. Mr. White also served as a speaker for the Criminal Lawyers Association, The Canadian Bar Association and the Law Society of Upper Canada. He is the author of many articles and papers dealing with criminal law and evidence.

Mr. White attributes his success to hard work and his love of the law. He obtained an LL.B. (Magna Cum Laude) from the University of Ottawa, Faculty of Law in 1990 and a B.A. (Hons) with a Political Science Specialist and History major at the University of Toronto in 1987. He was called to the Bar of Ontario in 1992.
