    WEST PALM BEACH, FL, June 30, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Pounding headache, nausea, vomiting, light sensitivity ... these are all signs of migraines, which affect more than 30 million Americans. Migraines are believed to be a mixture of genetic and environmental factors, though a majority of migraine sufferers have a familial tendency toward them. Moreover, women are more at risk for migraines than men, making up 75% of those afflicted.

Researchers have not discovered the definitive cause for migraine headaches so it is important for those with a predication to migraines to be knowledgeable of the triggers which lead to migraine headaches such as anxiety, emotional stress, fatigue, and exposure to light. However, only a small portion of sufferers can clearly identify the triggers that lead to migraines.

Host Martin Sheen and the Empowering Minds series will educate the viewer on causes and symptoms of migraine headaches with hopes to help individuals recognize the triggers before it is too late.
