Adam C. Reynolds Inducted into Worldwide Who's Who for Excellence in Risk Management

    HOUSTON, July 9, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Adam Reynolds, Chief Operating Officer of Athena Risk Mitigation, has been recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in risk management.

Mr. Reynolds has 23 years of professional experience, having recently become the COO of Athena Risk Mitigation. In the course of his duties, he is responsible for hiring personnel, handling all human resources functions and budgeting, and creating a business plan for the company. In addition, he manages marketing and sales, and he purchases the equipment that the company uses. Mr. Reynolds is a 21-year Marine Corps veteran starting a small business that conducts risk and threat assessments, as well as continuity plans and operations. It is a startup business that has grown from four individuals to 18, and is continuing to grow exponentially.

Mr. Reynolds attributes his success to the U.S. Marine Corps, and the leadership skills that he learned there. He became involved in his profession because he recently retired from the U.S. Marine Corps, and was in communications. He worked in radio initially, and then evolved into information technology; he discovered that it wasn't his true passion. He worked abroad in several countries and at two embassies that were attacked before deciding to pursue degrees in homeland security. Mr. Reynolds then went into different roles in the anti-terrorism protection force, and he wanted to remove himself from focusing on his communications background; he pursued a career in the homeland security and risk management arena.

Mr. Reynolds received a master's degree in safety and security leadership from The George Washington University in 2013, and a bachelor's degree in homeland security from American Military University in 2011. He is a member of the Golden Key Society, the Marine Corps League, the Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America, and Veterans of Foreign Wars. To benefit the less fortunate, he contributes to the Wounded Warrior Project and Semper Fi Fund. When he is not working, he enjoys spending time with his two daughters and traveling with his wife. In years to come, Mr. Reynolds plans to build the company name, and establish themselves as consummate professionals in the risk management field.
