Kathryn Slack Named a VIP Member of Worldwide Who's Who for Excellence in Operations Management

    VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA, CANADA, July 10, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Kathryn Slack, Program Coordinator of Women On Board, was recently named a VIP member of Worldwide Who's Who. This special distinction honors individuals who have shown exceptional commitment to achieving personal and professional success.

Mrs. Slack has 14 years of work experience, with four years as a program coordinator of Women On Board. In the course of her duties, she is responsible for managing program coordination, database operations, and event organization. She also supports board meetings and handles all budgeting and bookkeeping for the organization. Mrs. Slack strongly believes in promoting the advancement of women in the workplace and on corporate boards. Mrs. Slack attributes her success to her strong belief in what she does. She became involved in her profession because she has a strong belief in giving back to the community and playing a strong part in a nonprofit organization fits with that objective.

Mrs. Slack received a Master of Science in mathematics and a Bachelor of Science in mathematics from the University of Victoria, where she graduated with honors. She is the President of the British Columbia Ultimate Society, and a member of the Vancouver Ultimate League. To give back to her community, she serves as a board director for numerous nonprofit organizations. In her spare time, she enjoys ultimate frisbee, fitness, crafting, gardening and cooking. In years to come, Mrs. Slack intends to remain in her current line of work until she meets another group in need of her skill set.
