Georg A. Weidlich, Ph.D., Inducted into Worldwide Who's Who for Excellence in Physics

    PALO ALTO, CA, July 10, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Georg A. Weidlich, Ph.D., President of National Medical Physics and Dosimetry Comp., Inc., has been recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in physics.

Using his nearly 20 years of experience and vast educational background, Dr. Weidlich became the president of National Medical Physics and Dosimetry Comp., Inc., the medical company that provides medical services surrounding radiation oncology. He earned a master's degree in physics in addition to graduating from Oregon State University with a Doctor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering.

Dr. Weidlich holds a background in physics and radiation and is entrusted with overseeing operations and strategic planning, designing and implementing products, and managing research and development, as well as new product design. He holds two U.S. patents, one for a beam profile generator, that was issued on June 1, 1993, and one for the method for dynamic beam profile generation, that was issued on July 26, 1994. He attributes his success to his focus and hard work.

A certified radiation oncology physicist, Dr. Weidlich is a member of AMPA, the American Society for Radiation Oncology, and the American College of Radiation Oncology. Looking ahead, he hopes to see his career continue to expand and he is planning to serve on a Board of Directors of a publically traded company.
