EAST DUBUQUE, IL, July 17, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- According to an article published in the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA), over 225,000 people die each year due to iatrogenic causes (medical complications). This has become the third leading cause of death in the United States, after deaths from heart disease and cancer.
1.5 million people are victims of medical negligence ranging from devastating injuries to death with the victim having no legal recourse. Statistics indicate that the numbers are increasing while access to better healthcare and patient safety is decreasing! That's what Medical Malpractice Awareness is all about-spreading awareness to recruit and to call the American people to action, to raise their voices in protest, for change.
The ultimate goal of this initiative is to improve healthcare, allow patients better access, decrease insurance premiums and provide patient safety. It is vital that this initiative ends up with one national agency responsible for all licensing, standards, and regulations as it relates to the medical institution.
Dr. Marty McKary, the author of UnAccountable says that the world of American medicine is far deadlier: medical mistakes kill enough people each week to fill four jumbo jets. Medical Malpractice Awareness has been created to help increase awareness and to recruit victims of medical negligence or their loved ones while promoting an environment that fosters a community of healing.
Should you have any questions about Medical Malpractice Awareness or need assistance please call or email Medical Malpractice Awareness (877-207-3188 ext. 2 or [email protected] or [email protected]). Additionally, the Medical Malpractice Awareness initiative is available nationwide. This national campaign has begun its recruitment process as well as marketing, public relations and advertising strategies. Join us in this national campaign to call this nation to action that will ensure safety for all.
Medical Malpractice Awareness is about speaking up for those who cannot speak for themselves, the consent of the governed, the right to know, and the sanctity of life. There is an element of patriotism that is reflected in the belief that government is truly of, and for the people and, that the voice of the working class can and will be heard when lifted in concert. Medical Malpractice Awareness is the tool of that voice.
"A man's life begins to end when he remains silent about things that matter"
Martin Luther King
Medical Malpractice Awareness says that:
"A Nation of Democracy begins to die when the people become spectators and silent about things that matter"
This is an organization of medical malpractice victims trying to avoid others from having to join our ranks if they are one of the "one in three" Americans harmed or killed due to walking through the door of a US Medical facility. As a victim we have no rights, no place to turn and no such thing as justice and it is our objective to do something to avoid this from happening to other decent Americans.
