Returning to where he began his career in the hospitality industry, Cook will be at the helm of the award-winning property's group sales office, charged with driving revenue and overseeing the sales team at the 650-room resort.

A member of the Florida Marriott family for over 11 years, with sales experience in the Florida market since 1990, Cook recently served as the senior sales manager of The Ritz-Carlton, South Beach, responsible for key Northeast accounts, the top market for the property. He was also director of national accounts for both the JW Marriott Orlando in Grande Lakes and The Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes, where he nearly doubled the revenue goal set in 2006.
