Heidi Van Schalkwyk Named a VIP Member of Worldwide Who's Who for Excellence in Organizational Consulting

This special distinction honors individuals who have shown exceptional commitment to achieving personal and professional success.

Ms. Van Schalkwyk has eight years of experience in consulting, with four years as managing director for Kaya Consulting. On a daily basis, she helps clients gain a competitive advantage by improving organizational effectiveness in the workplace. In her profession, Ms. Van Schalkwyk's areas of expertise include coaching, leadership development, team interventions and change management. As a consultant, she has worked for companies such as J.P. Morgan, FNB Wealth, Public Investment Corporation and Tiger Brands.

Putting effort into everything she does, Ms. Van Schalkwyk attributes her success to her hard work. She also credits the guidance of her business partner, Jan Sipsma. Ms. Van Schalkwyk became involved in her profession because she always had an interest in psychology and in helping other people become successful. Her background made for a natural progression into her current career.

Before entering her profession, Ms. Van Schalkwyk attended North-West University where she received a master's degree in industrial and organizational psychology. Prior to that, she received a bachelor's degree in journalism and communications, and an Honors Degree in Psychology. In addition to her degrees, she is certified in Bar-On Emotional Intelligence Assessments, Saville Occupational and ability assessments, the Myers-Briggs Type Personality Indicator, SHL Occupational and Ability Assessments, work personality index, Initial Recruitment Interview Schedule (IRIS), Cognitive Process Profiler (CPP), and Giotto. Outside of her consulting duties, Ms. Van Schalkwyk serves as a member of SIOPSA, the Golden Key International Honour Society, and the Health Professions Council of South Africa. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking and reading. In the coming years, she hopes to expand the company to Singapore and the United States.
