Arizona Crime Victim Attorney, Law Office of Sara J. Powell Sponsors Victim Services Academy, Awards Scholarship to National Conference

    PHOENIX, AZ, July 30, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Arizona Crime Victim Attorney, Law Office of Sara J. Powell recently co-sponsored the Arizona Victim Assistance Academy, which provides crime victim advocates with a rare opportunity to work, study and interact with victim service providers from around the state.

Attendees at the event were also eligible to enter a raffle drawing with a valuable prize--a scholarship to attend the National Center for Victims of Crime 2013 National Conference, which will be held at Arizona Grand Resort & Spa in Phoenix in September.

The winner, Vurlene Notsinneh-Bowekaty, is a Community Health Educator with the Department of Health and Human Services at the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community. She will receive a scholarship that includes conference registration fees, hotel and a per diem allowance.
