LONDON, ENGLAND, August 01, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Running from the 16th to 18th of August, the Feast festival at Battersea Park is presented by the same team as the popular Foodies Festivals and celebrates London's thriving food scene. LondonTown.com has teamed up with the organisers to offer a pair of free tickets to ten lucky readers. To be in with a chance of winning, entrants simply need to answer the following question: Which company is launching their new Ginger Beer at the Foodies Festivals and Feast? Answers should be sent to [email protected] with 'Battersea Park Foodies Festival' in the subject header by midday on Wednesday 7th August 2013. Entrants must also include their full name, contact number and postal address within the email. For anyone travelling to the festival from outside of the city, a great selection of London hotels can be found on LondonTown.com.
The picnic extravaganza will serve up the UK's largest selection of restaurant, street and artisan food at one venue and will boast pop up restaurants, street food vendors, artisan producers, farmers' markets, vintage tea rooms, seaside food stalls and BBQ tents. Plus, to wash it all down, there will be wines, ciders and ales from the onsite Vineyard and Orchard.
Living up to its name, Feast will also welcome ten of London's most talked about chefs and restaurants to serve an array of food genres on huge feasting tables in the Feast tent, which will be at the heart of the festival. Among those attending will be Anna Kelly of London House, Martin Morales of Ceviche and Ian Pengelley of Mango Tree. Furthermore, Saturday Kitchen regular Jose Pizarro, Salt Yard's Ben Tish and the Pizza Pilgrims, who open their first proper pizzeria in August, will be in the Chef's Theatre to provide tastings and demonstrations.
As well as the food, visitors will also be able to indulge on entertainment from Punch and Judy, sand art and fire dancing at the Feast Beach; partake in some barn dancing and ranch skill classes at the Feast Farm; play a game London's trendiest sport, Ping Pong; listen to DJ sets in The Speakeasy; and party at the Entertainment Stage, where an eclectic mix of jazz, soul, blues, acoustic and R&B will be performed.
