Mrs. Gillard Cmaylo has been chief executive officer of Gillard Associates for the past 28 years. The company, which is based outside of Boston, in Dedham Mass., is one of the oldest full-time placement agencies in New England. Gillard Associates is one of the region's leading providers of search and placement services for professionals in the legal field. In addition to recruiting top attorneys for the nation's leading law firms and corporations, it places support staff such as paralegals and administrative assistants. In her leadership role, Mrs. Gillard Cmaylo oversees all daily operations, including business development, client relations and strategic planning. She also serves as a liaison between qualified professionals and businesses.

While in her current role with Gillard Associates, Mrs. Gillard Cmaylo has filled a number of key positions with other leading associations, including serving as president of the Massachusetts Association of Personnel Services for several terms. She was voted into a variety of board positions including senior vice president of operations, and senior vice president of government affairs for a number of terms, activities and education. In addition, she has served as the chairperson of the New England Association of Personnel Services conferences for a few years. Her many honors include the highest honor given in Massachusetts Association of Personnel Services "The Grace Cooke" award and the highest award given in New England "The Lifetime Achievement Award" from the New England Association of Personnel Services by her peers. Mrs. Gillard Cmaylo has earned a reputation for being a driven, results-oriented staffing legal professionals with expertise in helping people improve their lives. Mrs. Gillard Cmaylo has consistently demonstrated her commitment to the personnel industry by her 32 years of service and her positive attitude.

After the loss of her mother, Elizabeth Gillard, in 2003, Mrs. Gillard Cmaylo, took over for her discovering that many talented, well-qualified individuals have difficulty finding employment, attributes her success to her ethics and dedication. Over the next five years, she would like to expand the company while maintaining the personal touch for which her firm is famous.

Mrs. Gillard Cmaylo academic accomplishments include a Bachelors Degree in Aviation management (flight training) and business from Daniel Webster College in Nashua NH. Cheryl has volunteered for many professional and civic boards and is active in local and state-wide politics. She has been instrumental in the Big Brothers Big Sisters organization and the Christian Child Foundation for over 20 years. Her and many years of industry related training and experience. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband Peter and three children, Nicholas, Alexandra and Colin. She also enjoys flying, baseball and skiing.
