Renaissance Providence Hotel announces that Damaris R. Betances, of Cumberland, has been promoted to Sales Manager. Betances was formerly the Executive Assistant at the hotel, where she has worked since September 2006.

Betances, who is fluent in Spanish, has worked in the hospitality industry since her graduation from Johnson & Wales University in 2005 with a bachelor of science degree in International Hotel and Tourism Management. In addition to her work at the Renaissance Providence Hotel, she has also worked as Group Sales Coordinator at the Hilton Boston/Dedham.
