Dr. Kenneth Blum is currently Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Scientific Officer of Synaptamine Inc. Austin ,Texas and Managing Partner of IGENE, LLC, Austin, Texas. He was formerly Fulltime Professor of Pharmacology at University of Texas, and was at San Antonio, Texas for 23 years (retired). He coined the term "Brain Reward Cascade and Reward Deficiency Syndrome (RDS)." Considered as the father of Psychiatric Genetics (lead author in JAMA on the discovery of the first genetic association for severe alcoholism) and Nutrigenomic Amino-Acid Therapy (NAAT), Dr. Blum holds both US & foreign patents on Nutrigenomics.
