While inclusion in Worldwide Who's Who is an honor, only a small selection of members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. These special honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, years of service, and the credentials they have provided in association with their Worldwide Who's Who membership.
Ms. Angotti has gained a considerable amount professional experience throughout her career, with 12 years of experience as an administrative deputy to the chief health and medical officer and director of occupational health of NASA. In 1974, she became the first registered dietitian to successfully open and sustain a private practice. She attributes her success to passion for her job, having become involved in her profession because she was interested in chemistry and nutrition and started working in hospital clinical dietetics. Ms. Angotti received a Bachelor of Science in clinical nutrition from James Madison University, later completing her dietetic internship at the Medical College of Virginia. She is a former president of both the local District Dietetic Association and the Virginia Dietetic Association, and she has served as a State Delegate to the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, which was formerly known as the American Dietetic Association.
