Former SBA Assistant Administrator, Ana R. Harvey, Leaves Position to Start Management Consulting Group Focused on Financial Services Sector

Harvey, former Assistant Administrator of the Small Business Administration (SBA) left her position to launch a new Washington, D.C.-based venture, with partner James Perez Foster. The firm, HarveyFoster Impact Capital Group, LLC (HarveyFoster), is a bottom-line oriented Management Consulting firm focused on Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), HMDA/Fair Lending compliance optimization and impact management for the financial services sector.

Harvey, the former CEO of the Greater Washington Hispanic Chamber of Commerce was appointed by President Obama in 2008 to lead the Office of Women's Business Ownership, a department in the SBA. She was responsible for overseeing the Agency's efforts to promote the growth of women-owned businesses. Harvey managed programs that provide business training, counseling, access to capital, and networking opportunities for women entrepreneurs.
