Mary Jane Basham Bleier Recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for Excellence in Public Service

    COVINGTON, KENTUCKY, August 20, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Mary Jane Basham Bleier, Remittance Input Technician/OCR, Wage and Investment Division, for the Internal Revenue Service, has been recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in public service.

For her prowess of 33 years of experience in the field, including 27 years in her current role, Ms. Bleier has been recognized numerous times by Worldwide Who's Who. She was chosen to be featured in Pro-Files Magazine in 2012, and is a two-time VIP member. She was also distinguished as a Professional of the Year in public service in 1997 through the Internal Revenue Service, 2012 Nominee Community Service CIRSC - RCO distinction for Internal Revenue Service, and 2012 National Association of Professional Women.

Mrs. Bleier's expertise is in public service and depositing of U.S. Treasury money. Her responsibilities are facilitating and instructing classes, managing operations, training and mentoring employees. She is also overseeing administrative duties, coordinating with employee plans, and conducting research. She hopes to pursue computer technology courses and start her own business.

Prior to joining the IRS, Ms. Bleier worked for VanLuens, Inc.; Gap Stores, Inc.; Olsten Temporary Services; Adecco; and Augur Tool & Die Company.

Mrs. Bleier writes chronicles for churches and does public speaking. She has received an award for a poem called "Love is All" from the International Library of Poetry Association in 2005. She also owns a photography studio.

She studied business and accounting and holds a diploma from Lloyd Memorial High School. She underwent IRS training in 2007. She holds several certifications: Automated External Defibrillator (2005-2007); CPR (2005-2012); American Sign Language (1988); Basic American Sign Language (1987); Computer Program Basic I (1981); Blueprint Reading (1980); and Computer Programming (1980). She attended Northern Kentucky and Boone County vocational schools to obtain them. At present, she is attending Gateway Community and Technical College.

Mrs. Bleier was a member of Who's Who in Lexington, Ken., (1999-2000) and belongs to the International Executive Guild. She holds the Independent Order of Foresters Managerial Award, Internal Revenue Service (2007); Woman of the Year Award, American Biographical Institute (2006); Employee of the Year Award, Internal Revenue Service (1997); Public Service Award, States of Northern Kentucky, Ohio and Indiana (1997); Service Award, Internal Revenue Service.

She has served as a youth director, acteens direcor, children's church director, audio/visual team, faith evangelism strategy and church business meeting secretary for the Elsmere Baptist Church and has contributed to the Northern Kentucky Baptist Association, Lost Children's Network, United Christian Volunteers of America, Red Cross, and the Independent Order of Foresters.
