Torsten Zimmermann Inducted into Worldwide Who's Who for Excellence in Business Management

With more than 20 years of professional experience, Mr. Zimmermann continuously strives for excellence in his every endeavor, building on his ever-emergent skill set and an expertise in quality management in a regulated environment. He is also lauded as an expert analytical thinker, who is results-oriented, and who also possesses a refined background in test management and test automation. In his current role, Mr. Zimmermann is in charge of overseeing the company's daily business operations, as well as its consultants, and providing software and information technology solutions for the customers' projects for the information technology and software development company that provides software consulting and development, and information technology services.

Mr. Zimmerman has developed a risk-based testing approach which was published in the professional publication "QZ," among others, and is now established as state-of-the-art knowledge in the area of software quality assurance. His accumulated experience has led to the creation of T1 TFT (Test Framework Technologies, 2001) for the advent of a new area of testing systems.

Torsten Zimmermann is now developing new approaches to enhanced test concepts and test frameworks as T2 TFT 2004 and T3 TFT 2006. In cooperation with a network of universities, this is creating new solutions for rules and model-based testing systems. Within this, he is also considering near-shore and off-shore concepts in terms of software development. In his role as speaker at conventions and specialist author in well-known magazines, he periodically presents his conclusions, results, and concepts at national and international levels.

Mr. Zimmermann speaks German, English, French and Thai. He attributes his success to his continued research and education in this field, as well as new industry trends. He became involved in his profession because it has always been of great interest to him, and having a great education base and experience in the field made it a very natural transition for him in his career path. Mr. Zimmermann earned a diploma (Wirtschaftsinformatiker) from the University of Applied Sciences Karlsruhe, and he also received a number of certifications, which have included Adonis, CSV, IBM DB2, IBM Rational Functional Tester accreditation, IBM Rational Robot, ITIL, ISTQB, Micro Focus QA Director accreditation, Micro Focus FileAid C/S, Micro Focus QA Load, Micro Focus Test Partner, Scrum PO and Summit-D accreditation. He is a member of ASQF, AST, IEEE, PST, TestSPICE and TMMI. He is also a recipient of the 2013 Top 100 Germany Innovator Award, and he was named an i3 Consult Partner for the Competence Areas of Project, Quality, and Test Management in 2010. He was named principal of i3 Consult / NUCIDA GmbH, Karlsruhe in 2004.
