Dr. Cheryl Lynne Galler Inducted into Worldwide Who's Who for Excellence in Disaster Contingency Planning

    NEW YORK, August 26, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Cheryl Lynne Galler, Chief Executive Officer of Resilience For Disaster LLC, has been recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in disaster contingency planning.

After enduring a medically traumatic situation, Dr. Galler decided that she wanted to help others positioned in similar situations. The experience prompted her to become a qualified professional in the disaster management field, and she now serves as CEO of Resilience For Disaster LLC, a provider of disaster contingency educational programs.

Resilience For Disaster LLC offers an educational program to teach high school students how to form a disaster contingency plan that is compatible with their families' needs, cultures and preferences. Dr. Galler received a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine, Surgery, Infections and Complications from New York College of Podiatric Medicine, as well as a master's degree in emergency and disaster management from the American Public University System. She is involved with the International Association of Emergency Managers and intends to start a pilot program soon.
