WHITE PLAINS, NY, August 25, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The United States Tennis Association announced the selection of "Racket" by hip hop group LTM as the Official Anthem of the 2013 US Open. This marks the first time the designation has been given to a rap song.
"In all that we do, from supporting tennis programs that make the sport more accessible in local communities to staging the crown jewel of the professional game - the US Open - we are dedicated to growing our sport and making it look like America" said USTA President Jon Vegosen. "The kinetic nature of hip hop and the soaring trumpets of 'Racket' capture the energy of tennis and the triumph of competing at the highest level of sport."
