Mary J. Snyder Inducted into Worldwide Who's Who for Excellence in Global Investments

Ms. Snyder has 16 years of experience in the industry, with two years in her current role. Her areas of expertise include assisting with and guiding the managed account product planning and execution throughout the product life cycle. Ms. Snyder has exceptional planning, leadership and time management abilities, and has been directly contributing to the growth of The Bank of New York Mellon for the past two years, with more than $13 million in new revenue. She is an outgoing person who has a likable personality, and gives attention to client service and partnership. She has assisted in retaining more than $5 million in existing revenue, and her attributes and attention to a high degree of self-motivation, resilience and persistence are instrumental in her success and career advancement.

She attributes her success to her experience and colleagues at The Bank of New York Mellon. She had started with the company as a staff accountant and later moved around, training in various areas. She was a service delivery representative III for three years, and prior to this role, she was the vice president of product management, where she was responsible for working directly with the top revenue clients on-site to provide training, product updates and personalized consultation relating to the information delivery product. Ms. Snyder plans to continue moving up within the company.

While pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in business administration (minor in accounting) at Thiel College, Ms. Snyder was part of the women's basketball team, and was the captain in her junior and senior years. She is an alumna of both Thiel College and Alpha Xi Delta and assists Change the Triangle and the Habitat for Humanity of Wake County. Her hobbies are travel, live music, and sports.
