Karma International Exalts its 8th Annual Kandyland "An Evening of Decadent Dreams" in Benefit of Generation Rescue

    LOS ANGELES, CA, August 30, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- On August 17th, 2013 Karma International took over a Great Gatsby-like Estate in Beverly Hills, CA for a magical fete. Filled with playful, candy-inspired decor, live music streaming with bubblegum baselines, guests expressively dressed in theme, overflowing candy bars, gourmet food stations, specialty drinks from Zing Vodka, Allure Moscato, Le Medaillon Champagne, and Asombroso Tequila, this event was proof that fun and philanthropy are the perfect pairing.

Live on the decks, the EC Twins, Dj Steve Castro, and Karma resident DJ MisterE kept the dance floor packed, while live performances from "Bottoms Up" R & B recording artist Trey Songz and "Kandy" Bollywood/ R & B newcomer Anjali Dea took to the stage for surprise cameos. In attendance of Kandyland 2013 were Karma International's private members, socialites, tastemakers, and high profile VIPS. Additionally, celebrities such as New Edition's Bobby Brown and Ralph Tresvante, Supermodels Courtney Bingham, Nabilla Benattia and Karrueche Tran, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Adrienne Maloof, Rapper/producers Warren G and Too Short, R & B recording artist Trey Songz, Actor Cas Anvar, Basketball Wives LA Laura Govan, and the Bachelorette's Erica Rose graced its pink carpet.

For the second year in a row, the Karma Foundation chose Jenny McCarthy's Generation 501c3 charity to attach to its candy-coated celebration. Generation Rescue (GenerationRescue.org) is the leading national organization that provides hope, information and immediate treatment assistance to families affected by autism spectrum disorders.
