    /24-7PressRelease/ - MARICOPA, AZ, November 13, 2007 - Beginning as a retail Web site in September 2005, Joli Bebe Boutique with its Joli Bebe Brand of infant apparel and Jolie Maman brand of nursing and maternity wear, is now a wholesale and retail business based in Arizona with retailers in 21 stores nationwide, a store in Canada, Australia and the United Kingdom.

Two years ago Joli Bebe Boutique was born, an organic baby boutique whose mission was to create and sell its own brand of organic infant apparel and accessories. The company in its first year and a half did all it could do to build capital to invest in its own brand of baby wear. Joli Bebe wanted to couple the idea with their beliefs in conservation and the protection of the planet Earth. From there, the company has taken it further.

The owners spent many sleepless nights finding the right fabric source, the manufacturing plant and the mills, Schwartz said. They then designed their own pieces, perfected them, passed them onto a manufacturer and waited for the items to be mass produced.

"Because the organic clothing market is now on the trend, the people who want organic clothing really want organic," Schwartz said.

With a shortage of organic cotton in the United States because of its demand from big corporations, Schwartz said, they decided to have their designs manufactured in India.

"Some U.S. farms are limited and the markup on organic cotton in the U.S. is astronomical," Schwartz said. "To be able to afford manufacturing, we had to start out overseas, but our ultimate goal, once we have enough capital, is to invest and keep the money within the U.S."

Schwartz also explained that with the shortage on organic cotton in the United States, businesses now have to secure their fabric.

Joli Bebe Boutique now proudly manufactures various infant lines. These lines include their Joli Bebe Organic brand Brown Bear Collection which features various infant kimono sets with matching bear hats made out of organic cotton. Their Joli Bebe brand Beluga Whale Layette Collection which includes various organic infant staples like cloth diapers, nightgowns, and bodysuits. The Koala Bear collection is set to launch in February with presales being taken now, last but not least the Joli Bebe stuffed bear and baby carrier are ready for production and should be offered to stores very soon.

Although the Joli Bebe Organic brand of infant clothing and accessories remains the foundation of Joli Bebe Boutique, Joli Bebe Boutique introduced their Jolie Maman nursing line nine months ago, the Jolie Maman line was sparked by customer interest so the owners of Joli Bebe Boutique decided to test the nursing and maternity market's interest in organic choices. The Jolie Maman brand of nursing and maternity apparel remains in its infancy stage, but had a positive response at first launch. Joli Bebe Boutique expects the nursing and maternity line to be as strong of a presence as the baby wear with equal time and investment.

In their effort to support the Earth and design products that are organically beautiful, Joli Bebe Boutique knew that their business had to have something that set them apart from their competitors. "My heart lies in the protection of the animals and the protection of the environment for the human race," Schwartz said.

"We knew that being a company selling organic products, and other's who sell organic products, most or all of us are doing it for the betterment of the environment ... but we had to go one step further," Schwartz said.

The company donates one percent of profits to 1% for the Planet.

"It's a way to not only say that we're environmentally savvy and want the world to be a better place, but it's putting our money where our mouth is, giving back on top of our products," Schwartz said.
