She is a certified instructor and trainer from the Canadian Red Cross and a course instructor and monitor at St. John Ambulance Canada.

She assists The John Howard Society of Canada and volunteers for Mat's Ride - The Journey to End Youth Depression. Her hobbies are traveling and experiencing new cities, watching movies, reading suspense novels and cross-stitching.
